GGSIPU BCA 2018 cut offs
GGSIPU is a university graded ‘A’ by NAAC and recognized by the UGC. The university came into existence in 1998. GGSIPU conducts an entrance exam called BCA CET. This time the BCA Entrance exam will be held on May 12, 2018. Students who qualify are eligible for a seat in one of the many BCA colleges under the aegis of GGSIPU. This article will cover the qualifying marks and score of the exam or what is also called the IPU CET BCA 2018 expected cut offs.
After the exam is over it is then time for calculating results and checking the IPU CET BCA 2018 cut off rank and cut off marks. Above is the IPU CET BCA cut off for general category students for the year 2017.
Point to note is that there is reservation in all colleges offering BCA seats under IPU. For both Delhi and outside Delhi colleges 85% seats are for Delhi domicile, and reservation for SC students in Delhi colleges is 15%, and in non Delhi colleges is 17%. Schedule tribes also get reservation of 7.5% in Delhi colleges and 1% in non Delhi colleges, there is 5% reservation for defense category students in both Delhi colleges and outside Delhi colleges, last of all, 3% seats in both kind of colleges are reserved for the physically challenged.
This means that IPU CET BCA cut off for SC, and IPU CET BCA cut off for ST are significantly lower than cut off for general category students. IPU CET BCA cut off marks for OBC are also much lower than that for general students because of 27% reservation for these students.
This IPU CET BCA college cut off the list will help one come to devise the expected cut off for the BCA course in the year 2018. There are a total of 1900 seats approximately which will be filled up on the basis of cut off scores. The cut-offs vary for Delhi region candidates and non-Delhi region candidates. The difference is that if for an outside Delhi student the cut off is 435, then for a Delhi region student the cut off is 4400.
The factors which influence the cut off are the number of test takers, toughness levels of the paper, highest and lowest marks which were attained by aspirants, and no. of seats which are available.
