NCHMCT JEE is that IHM entrance exam, which makes a student eligible and provides the opportunity of admission in all IHM across India based on their All India Ranking in the examination. NCHMCT (National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology) is the body that conducts NCHMCT JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) for admission in 55 hotel management colleges/institutes in India. With the help of NCHMCT JEE, the council identifies candidate’s communication skills, abilities for the service sector and logical reasoning.

To get admission in all above mentioned IHMs, NCHMCT (National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology) conducts a Joint Entrance Exam (NCHMCT JEE). This exam is synonymously called as IHM entrance exam amongst students. The exam is generally conducted in the month of April of every year for admission in all IHMs as well as in few state government colleges for hotel management in India. In total, 55 institute and colleges participate in counselling held by NCHMCT, which includes 22 IHMs, 19 state government, 1 public sector undertaking and 13 private institutes of hotel management.
