Now let us quickly read ahead to see if you fulfill the entire DU LLB eligibility criteria.

Age limit – DU LLB eligibility criteria

Earlier there used to be an upper age limit for those who could apply and appear for this law entrance exam and hence gain admission but by a recent supreme court directive this age bar has been removed and everyone no matter what their age can sit for the DU LLB Exam 2020.

Educational Qualifications – DU LLB Eligibility Criteria

Since it is a three-year course, therefore, admissions after this law entrance exam are open for both graduates and postgraduates. This means one should have a valid undergraduate or postgraduate degree. In their degree, the students have to have scored a min. percentage so as to be eligible as per the DU LLB eligibility criteria 2020. The min. marks required are different for different categories. Not only is there a caste based reservation but there is also a relaxation of min. marks in case of reserved category students.

Below is the list of min marks for different categories as per the DU LLB eligibility criteria 2020

The DU LLB eligibility criteria 2020 also states that this graduation or post graduation degree should have been obtained by the student from Delhi university or a university recognized as an equivalent of Delhi University by the Delhi University. The DU LLB eligibility criteria also speak of students who have obtained an undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree from foreign universities and they too are eligible if this foreign university is deemed recognized by Delhi University and Delhi University grants this foreign university a status as its equivalent.

Important and pertinent to note here that students who are appearing in the final semester of the qualifying exam that i.e. their 10+2+3 exam can also apply for admissions through DU LLB exam 2020 but their candidature will be accepted at the time of the admission if only they clear their qualifying exam with min. marks notified for their category. The DU LLB Important Dates 2020 are the same for all these colleges as there will be common entrance exam i.e. the DU LLB exam on the basis of the scores of which these seats are filled.

There will be no rounding off of marks when marks are being calculated to decide if one is eligible. This DU LLB eligibility criteria provision dispels any doubt on the topic.

Finally, to answer the query about whether only students from a particular stream can sit for law entrance exams the university states that students from each stream can sit for the law entrance. That brings us to an end of all DU LLB eligibility criteria.
