AILET 2019 Application Form

The official AILET Notification for AILET Exam 2019 has been released by National Law University Delhi(NLU-D) on January 3, 2019. Candidates must fill the Application Form with correct information and must be submitted before the AILET application form last date i.e. 7 April 2019. One can access these forms from the official National Law University, Delhi website. All students who wish to sit for the AILET Exam 2019 which is going to be held on May 5, 2019 to gain admission to NLU, Delhi have to fill the form.

How to fill the AILET 2019 Application Form:

The first step towards filling the AILET application form for the law entrance exam is registering on the NLU Delhi website. You can make an online student’s account by providing the following information:

A valid mail ID which will remain functional throughout the AILET exam admission process because all communication related to the law entrance exam will be done through this email ID.
A valid phone number which will remain active and which you will access until the end of the admission process because you will be communicated with using this mobile number.

Password
The name of the candidate
Gender of the candidate
Names of the candidate’s parents
Date of birth of the candidate
Contact address of the candidate

Then the next information you will be asked for is the course for which you are registering. Once you fill BA.LLB in that section you will have to press the “Apply now” button.

An application form will then open up on your page. Here, information that you provided at the time of registration will be self-filled in the form and the rest of information needs to be filled by you online.

This information required is the religion you prescribe to, your category, for instance, general or SC/ST or persons with disability and so on, your nationality to differentiate between foreign and Indian nationals and your three highest preferences for law entrance exam centre of your choice.

Furthermore, there are some documents which you need to scan and attach to the AILET application form. These are-

Photograph of the size 150kb in the format either JPG, GIF, or BMP. The photograph should be such that 75% of the photo is the candidate’s face. Always make sure that instructions are followed and photo uploads successfully.
Signature of the size 150kb, in the format either JPG, GIF or BMP. The signature should be visible clearly after scanning and should not be grainy.

The AILET application form is complete once all this is done and fee paid. The fee differs for different categories as reserved quota gets a fee discount as well. Check the fee below

General category, Kashmiri migrant, foreign nationals- Rs. 3125
Persons with a disability, scheduled caste, scheduled tribe – Rs. 1125
Persons who belong to SC, and ST category and are below poverty line- NIL fee or no fee applicable

The AILET exam application fee can be paid online through debit or credit card or net banking or offline via depositing cash at the post office, drawing a demand draft or DD in favour of Cyberia net technologies Ltd payable at Delhi. It is a must and students must note that at the back of the demand draft or DD they have to write their name, email ID, and mobile number and then post it to ground floor, A-37, Sector 39, Noida UP -201301.

The application fee for the law entrance exam is tentative and subject to change with each year and this data is approximate in nature and do verify that the amount stated on application forms once the forms are in public domain. Do remember that applications are deemed incomplete till fee is paid and hence the mentioned amount must be paid on or before the AILET application form last date.

It is not compulsory that you fill the form in one go and you can fill some information and save and resume filling the remaining information any number of times before the AILET application form last date.

When all the information is complete then re-check and make sure all information is correct as you will not get a chance of change or alter this information once you hit the “submit” button even if it’s not yet the AILET application form last date.The last thing to remember about the AILET eligibility criteria is that those who are appearing in the qualifying exam in 2019

All students must bear in mind that they have to take a print out of the application form for safe keeping as it might come to use at any time throughout the admission process.
